The multi talented singer & musician Teena Marie really shines on jazz, and 'Sunny Skies' is a perfect example of that. The original track was part of her 'Emerald City' CD from 1986, but this EXTENDED MIX takes an already great track to another level. Also, featuring Branford Marsalis on Saxophone & Stanley Clarke on Upright Bass.....Enjoy and obtain this rare mix of Teena's 'Sunny Skies' on her Love Songs CD (2000, Sony). I'm sure Lisa Simpson would love this song.

  • Lady T was in a class all by herself. Nevermind color...she transcended all that. NOBODY can touch her. RIP Lady T...We miss you...

  • Death to the 6 individuals who disliked this song...this song incorporates jazz, R&B, and opera...this is what you call REAL music!

  • I owed Emerald City on cassette and two CD's. I did everything, to ensure this great piece of work would be a mainstay in my music collection. Most of all, to this day, I have Emerald City in heavy rotation.

  • losing all these great artists . she can stand shoulder to shoulder with the greats

  • BLOW IT BABY

  • Relaxin to "Sunny Skies" and reminiscing about this Great Performer of Music! Just an American Treasure- Lady T!
