  • Oceana is a perfect example of a band who has changed their sound not once but twice (and about to be a third) and can still pull it off. I really admire this band and enjoy whatever they put out.

  • Whaow I used to love Oceana, then they changed and I still loved them! now they change again and guess what...I LOVE IT!

  • @Gr0md0r Well said.

  • @KaoticMentality Totally agree bro. They don't belong on Rise though, that record company is so fucking generic and cookie cutter now, its a joke. Oceana will grow and aquire a new record company that allows them to be them and make music how they want to. When their new album drops it will be like Christmas for me.

  • Good musicians are able to pull off many different styles and still have it sound unique and interesting. Kudos to Oceana. Their progression just shows the calibre of their musicianship.

  • Rise lost some amazing talent when Oceana left...They are the one band from Rise I think are so unique and good at progressing. Rise was lucky to have them while they did.

  • A comment about appreciating Oceana's style change.

  • i think the old stuff is better (my personal preference is harder shit) but they still did a good job pulling off a new sound

  • Everyone changes a bit when they go from being Teenagers to Adults (Some More Drastically then others.) it just happened for them in the spotlight. And those who don't accept it will find happiness in something else.

  • @himynameisgus no thats the female singer OCEANA.

  • bands who change as a progression is what a real band is. I hate tools who say bands suck when they change sounds, people need to grow up and accept change. this is a perfectl example, it's different but its hte same band, and the songs remain the same.
