BWAHAHAHA! "Fuckin' shite!" Ewan Bremner's accent is just excellent here . . . much better than his normal Scottish accent! Both characters are lost souls, homeless, on the run, and have mental health problems, but Johnny (played by Thewlis) is fiercely intelligent, but Archie (played by Bremner) is completely uneducated and probably illiterate. Great juxtaposition and contrast of characters. I need to watch this film again, as it's been about 14 years since I've seen it.
