Coffeyville, Kansas Flood

This is a video of the Coffeyville, Kansas flooding that occured the night of June 30, 2007 and into the morning hours of July 1, 2007. For those of you who live in this area and who have heard the song "Born Survivor" on KUSN-FM, I have given them rights to use my video with that song courtesy of Dave aka Bluesplugger. The CD will be sold to help raise money for the flooding victims.

i love this video. i was working at the refinery when this happend. it also happended on my bady. what a wonderfull bday present. lol we cudnt git in or out of that town for 4 days that suuuuuuuuuucked

Souteast all that area there. The government should call that place a toxic hazard and not let anyone live in that area. They use to have lead factories and now the oil refinery? It affects your ability to learn.

I live in coffeyville and it doing good here right now and there was another flood of a creek that over flowed and it was on may 26,2008 i was there it was ugly. people homes was flooded on warlock street and i was sad because i feel bad for those people who lost their homes. when the flood went away people moved into their homes again and we havent have a flood since the coffeyville flood and the creek flood

I haven't forgotten. My family's heritage has been destroyed. Farmland Industries opened the valves and purposefully ruined it for those living closest to that river. They will pay in the end...mineral rights! The people are down but not out for the count.

it was... like the next two days after the water went down the grass was blackish... It was bad... We were stranded. There was no way to get in or out of town in less you could fly out some how... We tryed every side. @ one point you could get out to Southh Coffeyville but then like 2 hours later the road was flooded
