Diane Nalini singing "The Lorelei", live at the 606 Club in London, England (2001). With Steve Kaldestad (sax), Martin Pickett (piano), Steve Brown (drums) and Julian Bury (bass).
I met her when she was the guest speaker in Dawson college for regional science fair . She is Dawson college product that is why she was invited. What a nice combination Physicist and Zazz singer.
Will you ever sing in Gowani? The language of Gova? I love her English and French songs.
I have to add an addition. As a professorial physicist, she is also an astronomer. And she does a number she wrote called "Kiss Me like That" based on a mnemonic students are taught to remember star classifications, from super large to super small. Learnt that from the Enright interview. OBAFGKMLT are the classifications.
[Following from my last] .. or you can get her (another talented female singer] at triple W dot notarmary dot E U (There's no dot com in it) Music will start playing as soon as a you arrive at the site, but it's best to click on the button ZENE KI (its stops the music) and then to ferret out the music video. from the links. A bit fiddly but worth it. The video is 20 or 30 mins long, and very worth it.
Hmm, ok, I'd like to listen to more of her songs. This is the only one I found on YouTube. For fans of female singers, do a search on YouTube for "Notar Mary" (Mary is her first name; in her language, the family name is mentioned first.)
Diane is so talented. If velvet could take a voice this would be it! She is an amazing singer, a brilliant professor, and an incredible person. So down to earth and fun to talk with. Beautiful in every sense of the word!

I also liked her interview on The Sunday Edition. Canadian Broadcasting Corporaton, for those who don't know Canada exists.
Michael Enright (the host) is very good and interviewing and he always does his homework. And you can't see his bowtie on radio.
