In the movie we only see the exterior of the house as viewed from the main gates,
you get a much better look at the house in the Hammer Horror film "Demons of
the mind" which we see both inside the house and the gardens surrounding it.

I remember this house from the cover of the 1980 Toyah album The Blue Meaning.On the cover they hanged Toyah by her wrists from the gate pillar with the dark house in the background.All very gothic and chilling!

Sadly, I never got to look inside the house but if your curious to see it, check out the movie "Demons of the Mind" which was also filmed at the same location.
