@obeattie If you're going to visit Liverpool, you HAVE to go to the Albert Docks :) That's one of the best places for tourists. I have family in Liverpool and know it fairly well ;D
I really really liked this when it came to Liverpool....It was light, not pretentious for a change [boy have we had some pretentious exhibitions the last few years!!!]
I stood filming it myself with my mobile as 3 children danced round in the dappled ,animated dark....they looked like pixies
actually, thinking about it, they may use a combination of both flash and illustrator... d'no why my other comment didn't show up down here but whatever :P
they might use illustrator for t-shirts, posters or logos but definitely not for animation :) flash is made for vector animation so you can create something in flash that looks like it's straight out of illustrator... if you know how (i don't so i'm stuck with illustrator :P)
ok i really love this. the repetition is just awesome and kinda entrancing ... and the weird whale/color bleeding monster thing made me giggle :) it does make me wanna pick illustrator up again

It's all vector animation, using programs like Adobe Illustrator. Very time consuming!
