  • Wonderful music. The combination of the Desmond, Mulligan, and Brubeck together is nothing short of spectacular.

  • Mulligan looks like he came out of a cave. Pretty talented caveman!

  • I am so glad that Desmond didn't dress like a clown, as quite a few jazzmen did in those days (including the awesome Cannonball and yes, Brubeck here).

  • Beautiful!

  • Jack Six is my great uncle, im glad to find some qualiety videos of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Great song!

  • YewMake MeSmiles, do you use a software package such as 'Transcribe'. I use it for transcribing bass lines and it really helps. Maybe you've already tried this. Good luck anyway

  • i'm trying to transpose a saxophone harmony to go with a trumpet for this song. can anyone help?

  • This is a neat clip! Combining the Brubeck Quartet sound with the amazing interplay of Desmond and Mulligan. A rare treat!

  • Mulligan played his best between 1965 and 1982, not that he wasn't great before and after. His ideas and technique were so well defined at that time and he just seemed to "go for it" more.

  • great
