That would be Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District, in which parents in Dover, Pa., took the school board to court over an attempt to make intelligent design part of the science curriculum.

During six weeks in September and October last year, Jones heard wide-ranging testimony featuring legal precedence introduced from dozens of court cases, including from the U.S. Supreme Court.

Then Jones wrote a 139-page decision that made broadcast headlines within 15 minutes of release at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 20. He concluded from the evidence that intelligent design is creationism repackaged—not science. Making it part of a public school science curriculum would be a violation of the U.S. Constitutions establishment clause, which bars an alliance between church and state

Evolution is a fact and a theory just like how Gravity is a fact and a theory. ignorant creationist dont even know what a theory is. a theory is a idea that has evidence that backs it up and still being tested.

I'm an atheist because I haven't sensed god with my own senses, I haven't picked up his signal on the TV or radio, nor has a Geiger counter detected him, nor has a dog sniffed him out of his hiding place. I know something exists by being able to detect it and verify countless times that it exists where it is in its domain. Spending time speculating or believing in ideas that may not exist is a waste of time unless it can be proven with a means that everyone can verify for themselves.

@rzielske You can make anything up, and claim that it could still exist even though there is no evidence for it.

Atheists and theists alike, know nothing of the true concept of god. They can only speculate. My idea of god might be different to yours. Which god is the real or true one? How can I share my idea of god to you? It's impossible! I think god is a concept so hard to grasp that it withers away into nothing and therefore cannot exist in my mind at all. This is atheist logic not belief.

Atheism is just straight out rejection of other peoples beliefs in god, not just disbelief in god. We aren't saying that faith or belief is false, belief in god is false.

@Turha101 Unfortunately we (but not you and I ;) ) do believe in crazy stuff. I find the biblical writings on god very depressing. God is an egotistical maniac who needs to bully and prove his macho glory to common humans scurrying on the face of the earth in filth and squalor. What a weak and foolish god. @DeJay14 Hahaha believe in atheism? It's like asking whether I believe in the Sun. I believe there are religions, and atheism isn't a religion. It is a label placed onto the unfortunate ones who must bare living without a god and being picked on by theists as a result of it.
