How to open Vanguard Princess on vista/xp "HD" 720p

UPDATE:here is a link to a download of the game that works for me without applocale. i hope it works for everyone else.

old update: many people are saying that changing your location/language to japan/japanese will get rid of the problem. i tried it, restarted my computer and guess what happened? it didn't work for me. just goes to show you that some solutions dont always work on a computer like mine.

well here is a better look on how to install this game. this time i show it with a screen recorder. i hope this helps. also this game isn't finished yet so its not really a big deal if you havent played this game yet!

WATCH IN 720P!!

this is the first step when opening this game!

1. go to user account on your computer (on star menu) and turn it off, after you ask it to turn-off it will restart your computer.

2.download the game here:

3. exstract the file to your desktop and rename the EX file and KGT file to something english (vanguardprincess)

after this you need to download Applocale (they dont have this program for vista but you can still get it on vista by following some more steps)

5. run applocale and open vanguard princess, make a short cut and enjoy =) also you'll have to open the game this way everytime you want to play it (thats at least what i do)

i'd like to also give a special thanks to this website, when it comes to VGP they really knew what they were talking about. all other sites just led me to fourms with people telling us how cool the game was in sted of how to open the damn thing!
