Good news! As much as we would like all laws to be the same everywhere--In Idaho it's legal to make a u-turn at a controlled intersection unless otherwise posted.

We also have no helmet law AND you can drive around with your kids in the open bed of your pick-up truck! (of course dogs have to be secured...go figure.)

I see a lot of motorbike videos every day and this is definitely one of the better ones. Its good to see these sort of videos. It might even save your life teaching your fellow driver.

You always do such great vids. The one about making u-turns made me feel less bad about not wanting to do them on the road. I always prefer to turn around in a parking lot. Less nerve-racking!

At the :11 mark, you show construction barrels. These bbls are notoriously dangerous to motorcyclists. Here's why~ When they fall over, they roll around in a circle. They do "blow" around easily with wind or turbulent air via traffic/machinery. The base of these bbls, are large enough to wedge a front tire into. Not something you'd think about, unless it almost happened to you. After talking with other motorcyclists, it turns out it's quite popular. Evidently, it has happened many times.

@Lamaj96 That was a controlled intersection at 1:58, was it not? I got pulled over a couple of days ago for "making a U-turn at a controlled intersection." I got a warning, but could have gotten a ticket.

Looks like you made an illegal U-turn at a controlled intersection. I guess all that Schmutz on the road, ie. the radiator hose, must have gotten you komplett aus der Fassung ;-)
