You forgot about the part where it vibrates if you stray too far from the phone while paired to it. It's a good reminder just in case you, say, tend to leave your phone in a bar after having one too many.

Obviously this depends on usage, but I'd say the battery lasts around a week. It's rechargeable and you're provided with the necessary equipment.
