@animelovergirl9813 Sorry fabout the late response, but you have to make sure your lineart is on a layer that's transparent. if you want to color under it you have to create a new layer and move it under the lineart layer. :)

i have a question , u lessend the opacity of the color to shade right? so umm my problem is when i reduce the opacity i get the same color's as your's but sometimes i stop my brush and accidentally color over the place where i already shaded wich it suddenly gets darker! how can i avoid this?

ok, so make sure your shading layer is on a different layer than the color layer

and uhm i think you shouldnt reduce the opacity as much (and make sure you're using a color darker than your base color)

when you lower the opacity you arent just getting a lighter color: you're lowering how (see through) the color is, so if you draw over the brush, it gets darker.

a way to avoid this... hmm... thats hard there really is no way

what brsh did you use for the linerart? I'm having a hard time finding a brush with the right thickness.

well, on photoshop i used Hard round 4 (if you have a tablet)

if you don't i'd recomend using the pen tool (hard round 1 w/o pressure and hard round 4 w/ pressure)

but the best program for lineart is sai painter

Nice vid, pretty helpful. Two things though. One. Don't put Three Days Grace with fluffy bunny things (lol). And two. When I go over the same area twice with the brush, it darkens it. Is there anyway I can get it to NOT do that? THX
