Video about Gevo's technology that enables ethanol plants to retrofit for Isobutanol. Isobutanol is used to create rubbers and plastics, etc., and with this technology from Gevo, Isobutanol can now be made from renewables. Video features interviews with Gevo CEO Patrick Gruber, footage from a converted ethanol plant in Luverne MN and an interview with corn grower David Kolsrud.
grate video. i have a 401k plan at work that has been going down for years. i would like to switch my investments toward projects like these. but every year when i ask my investment advisers about renewable energy investments they don't have a clue. they have conservative, moderate, aggressive choices. large or small busyness every choice but they don't have a category just for renewable. i think their is enough interest in renewable investments if 401k would add a category.
