@FrenchHornMaster3125 well, i actually DO believe that its a level 6. it surely can be. im a pretty good saxophone player, but i cannot seem to get this up to the tempo that my director would like me to. (78) 16th notes at 78 in 3/4 can be tricky. especially being in the high octave in part of the first movement and you have to go down to a middle a. pain in the ass. :| nyssma is in like 18 days i think. i believe im fucked over. (: wish me luck! lmao.

@XxconversegirlxX Thx, I just Found out a few weeks ago that the book i used for the information (the slow tempo and all) was from an etude book which information was not valid! The solos in the books were messed up and changed so I could not use the book for solos. The book said level 6 (I don't trust it anymore.) But I trust you totally.

the first movement is Adagio. which is NOT 56. its between 66 and 72 i believe. This piece for saxophone does not give a specific tempo, just Adagio. and FrenchHornMaster, are you talking about the level of this piece? because according to NYSSMA (New York State School Music association) this is a level Four.

By the way, it's grade 6

Actual speed is 56 (I have the piece myself.) you'll get it. Great Job

A bit more practice is advised from me. The tone quality you have is spectacular. Just keep practicing and you'll get up to the speed that is required for this piece. I play the alto saxophone and I believe I use a ligature that is quiet close to the one that you are using. Keep at it!

this is good.. but try to be a bit more consistent with tempo, and dont be afraid to put air through that horn!
