I went train spotting today in my hometown of Milford, CT on the Northeast Corridor (former New York, New Haven & Hartford/Penn Central/Conrail line). I managed to get footage of 2 Amtrak and 2 Metro North passenger trains during the evening rush hour. You'll see a Metro North and Amtrak train heading west towards New York. And You'll see a Metro North and Amtrak train heading east toward New Haven. So thats 4 trains all in less than 3 minutes of a video!

  • We have a good hobby.>:( Train spotting is fun and a good way to spend time.>:(

  • this is a hobby???

  • Yes it is.:)

  • Dude if go to tracks by the milford dump, you'll see some crazy long freighters.

  • Yeah, but the freight trains use the branchline near the dump at night for the most part. Usually when I'm sleeping I can hear them pass.
