@DaveZeman No, I'm playing in G. One of the few things I was ever taught was to finger the G chord so as to make transitioning to C easy, using the last 3 fingers. This has been a key to my success as a fingerpicker, and I recommend it heartily.

I love this!!!! this song is so sad and you play it so well. I am planning on buying myself a guitar, and advice on how to get to play like you?? coz I would love to even play half as good as yu do

@corraleigh1 I never took any lessons, just knew I wanted to finger pick as opposed to using a flat pick. Learn the basic chords, learn to pick out individual notes in each chord, learn to pick out a simple melody. After a few years of that, learn to play whatever tune you can think. Finally, learn to think good thoughts.
