can the carriers launch aircraft while in the canal?
cool to see the toronto escorting the carrier. my daughters sea cadet squadron just went on a tour of her. still has a grin on her face.

Any worship that goes through the Canal always gets a military escort from both sides suez canal..

I Guess your unaware of the type of protraction these guys get from the Egyptian Armed forces. IF you even breath the wrong way you'll have an Infentery division on top of you.
Both sides of the canal are very heavily protected, Trust me what I say, thats a very safe place to cross from and you've never hear of a single incident occurring there!!

Well we always need to keep watch no matter where we are, although this is one of a few places that offers more of an opportunity for an attack it is more likely in other places. Straights of Hormuz is the ONE!!!!
