Our tribute to Albert King and his legendary song Born Under a Bad Sign. We used a Mesa Boogie .50 Caliber Plus and three guitars: a 1978 Les Paul Custom for the main fuzz and octave ridden riff and the outro instrumental (otherwise known as a solo), a 1983 Les Paul Custom Silverburst for the less fuzzed out duplicate main riff and a 1980 Fender The Strat for the main instrumental (both tracks, left and right). We used a Boss CE-1 for chorus and vibrato, a Big Muff Pi with wicker for fuzz, a Boss OC-3 for the Octave, a Jimi Hendrix signature wah, and a vintage (new old stock) MXR Dyna Comp to tighten it up. Drums are Roland TD-3. Bass is a Fender Squirer Bronco.
