Flew the plane 100% from the video goggles view and managed to get a recording on my Aiptek Media Recorder. I am afraid to test the limits of distance for the wireless video and the radio control, but already I can fly much further away with FPV (first person view) than I would with line-of-sight control looking at the plane from the ground. Even landing it with goggles is pretty easy. I think I have a lot of practice to do before I can fly through windows like Gabriel2584 though...
Neat !! Is it an odd experience to fly the plane with goggles (To have your own viewpoint shifted to that of the plane) ?
Watching your footage, I find it hard to judge altitude and I'm guessing that you're not using stereoscopic cameras. Do you find altitude difficult to judge during wireless FPV flights or is much of the difficulty down to the resolution and frame rate of YT clips ?

It is definitely a different experience flying by goggles. I end up retreating into myself and just stand there with my hood down over my eyes to block the daylight. But so far I have found it actually easier in many respects. When the plane is off in the distance it is often hard to judge just how far away it is and whether you are going to clear that tree, but when you have the view from the plane, you know just where you are. But I don't yet have confidence to fly really close to things.
