@LykOhEmGeeKyle3 I used to sing this in elementary school!! Brought back memories of five-eleven years ago (kindergarten to sixth grade). Anyway, I looked up this song and it's called 'Free At Last" by Teresa Jennings.
I couldn't find a full copy of it anywhere, though, but there are samples of it :)

It might be an adaptation of an old "negro spiritual" called "Free At Last." But from the lyrics I find on the web for that song, this is different. This one is more a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, using those words as a refrain. So I'm not sure what the actual title of this song is.

It is wonderful that they're being taught empathy from such a young age. That's how you avoid anything like that ever happening again. They know right from wrong.

Wow, that's a big assumption you make that these kids are being deprived of all the other beautiful aspects of American music culture. I'm not sure why you would make such an assumption.
