Kubica didnt have any injuries from this crash, but then Massa is 5 days in coma because little piece of metal hits his head. Unbeliveable

@trustrey619 yes, Robert Kubica died in this horrid accident. It was his identical twin who raced for BMW in 2008 and 2009 and then went on to race for Renault in 2010 and as a Test driver for Renault in 2011. His name was Robërt Kubica who did that. Robert Kubica died. Yes.

i was at this race. we were all really worried about kubica. there was no announcement about his condition during the race. it was only when they sprayed champagne on the podium that i knew he must be ok. we heard later it was just a broken ankle and he left the hospital the same morning we left montreal.

@trustrey619 Fortunately he survived, going on to win this very race the next year. He was in a horrible accident at the start of this year, almost losing one of his hands. Hopefully he will be back in the cockpit for 2012.

@09rob12341 Most people had thought that for a while, but i was disappointed for it to be announced by on the TV. Kubica is probably one of the best drivers on the grid and it'll be a loss to motorsport if he doesn't return in 2012.
