this is a bowing experiment in the English scientific tradition (i.e. no budget, make do with teaspoons, coathangers and elastic bands..) uploaded to compare with same on humbuckers - but again i think strings important these are smooth coiled gibsons and don't react so much to the bowing...

  • Hi - thanks for the question - you are very close! Actually it is a 1999 Guild Dearmond - but it has the same pick ups as the 1954 Gretsch Duo -Jet which also were made by Dearmond - and they don't sound like anything else!
