@Skybaby79 No, they were pretty mediocre even then (it's only 4 years ago!) Gears of War was out in 2006, Half Life 2 and Doom 3 already 2 years old by then.

This game is amazing! One of the few games that actually manage to scare me. When I say scare me I mean scare me, not chock me by poofing up out of nowhere with a loud scream/boom/noice. The whole atmosphere in this game is freaky and disturbing and will gnaw on you as you play.

The story in this one is amazing. It's worth playing dude trust me. Turn off all the lights and play it by yourself at night time. Creepy as hell!!
