  • dosen't jose ruiz aka el negro play in this group? lol tell him we miss him in wenatchee...

  • Actually, no he doesn't... the trumpet players in this group are Christian Quintero, Martin Lara, and Andres Santana..

  • i think he plays guitarron though.... or guitar. because he is in san jose, california right now supposebly playing with some mariachi monumental

  • Nope... Monumental's guitarron player is Juan Jimenez Jr and Erick Jimenez on Guitar.. your probably talking about Monumental de MEXICO. They're up in Northern Cali (i've never really heard of them) Monumental de America is located in the Los Angeles area. Two totally different groups :)

  • christian is Hooot! ;)

  • too slow

  • i forgot what year, but was this the convention in kansas city?

  • min 2:05 if freakin badass!

  • omg!

i played on the same stage with them.

  • yeah jose ruiz was in mariachi monumental de mexico from juan reyez, my brother diego used to play in that group too they sounded incredible, if they ever come back again they will be the bet in the area of san jose.

  • Yes Jose Ruiz was here at San Jose in Juan Reyes' group Mariachi Monumental de Mexico. But unfortunately like so many great groups, it ultimately broke up. I believe Jose went back to Wenatchee because I havent seen him in a while. I too was in Monumental de Mexico. Sorry to ramble. Take care everybody.
