December 12, 2008: Starting goaltender Brent Johnson stopped 32 shots as the Capitals blasted the Senators, 5-1, to improve to 12-1-1 at home, best in the East. Goals were scored by Alexander Semin, Brooks Laich, Alex Ovechkin (2) and Mike Green.
