Must say ya the 300 I6 was a solid engine, trannys in late 80's-early 90's in the fords (autos) were not that great, gm defiantly had that over ford at the time. Must say the chev 305 and the ford 302 were both crap. chevs were famous for intake gaskets we know, but some would say for every 1 chev with an intake bad there's a thousand fords with bad vaccum lines. they both had thier goods and bads neither are as good as they used to be.

@blaster4716 hey fuck you man. I have a 1991 chevy silverado 4x4 extended cab with 350,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new in 91. It is still running strong. Chevy trucks are the best ever built. The only reason the chevy on daves farm is a piece of shit is because it was treated like crap. You obviously don''t know what the hell you are talking about.
