Two residents of a Catonsville, MD home died in a fire Sunday evening,January 31, 2010. Baltimore County, MD firefighters responded to 11 Hilltop Road shortly after 11 p.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the house. While attacking the fire and performing a primary search, firefighters discovered two people inside the 2-story home and pulled them out. Both victims were reported in cardiac arrest, and despite efforts by firefighters to review them, both died at an area hospital. The Baltimore County Fire Department's Fire Investigation Division is working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.

Wow. There was a chimney fire a few houses down from me on Friday. Nobody was injured. 3 engines and one box responded. Its sad to see something that can be such a beautiful sight in your fireplace cause people to die. :( R.I.P all who passed on. My prayers are with your family.
