I'm A Vietnam Veteran. Two tours 1962 & 1966. I've seen this memorial and the tears flow every time. It's ironic..I always look for my name and wonder why it's not there. I know it was an unpopular war but we that served in this war, just as those that served all others, did what our country asked us to do. We veterans of this war are the forgoten. Some 40 years later and you still see homeless vets on corners with signs that say "Vietnam vet. homeless and hungry." In the wealthiest free nation?

ask some of them there who lived in communist terr. how they wanted it?? dont ditch our boys they gave been through quiet enough -- go back inder a rock you yellow bellied coward!! wait it does have yeli in your name doesnt it how ironic.. dont dare ditch my guys!!EVER! they did what they were ordered to do some broke order and were court martialed to ave those they knew were innocent.. damn the govt not our troops

@50poiuyt The war was fought in SOUTH Vietnam that was invaded and destroyed by the communists from the North. All the weapons that I saw when I was in country were manufactured in the Soviet Union, Soviet Bloc Countries, China, and Cuba.
