  • Is this related to the german poem Mondnacht by Joseph Freiherr Von Eichendorff

Es war als haett' der himmel

    Die Erde Still geküsst

    Dass Sie im blütenschimmer

von ihm nun traumen müsst . . . etc.

  • Yes it is, originally it is a song by Schumann on this Eichendorff song.

  • I can send it to you as MP3 if there is a way to obtain your e-mail address. I have played and recorded it myself.

  • The music performance is obviously far superior to the movie, but anyway I like the movie too; it's slighty slowed down, isn't it? this gives a sense of remembrance and of search of the lost time in my opinion (I don't know if I'm writing a sheer banality). Just out of curiosity, is the place Trieste by chance?

  • You have very good eyes, the movie is slowed down (the lengths didn't fit, but when I saw the result I liked it for the reason you write). I agree, the music is better, but this has a simple explanation. I have practiced music for more then 50 years (very limited due to my job ..). The movie is by no means planned, I made it from a train ride along the Italian cost (probably "cinque terra"). The nature was so fantastic that I heard "Mondnacht" in me ...

  • @clairbear1234

hello do you mind translating the German's language to English... i haven't had the change to study German but i would like to stare with this.

if you don't mind translating it. thanks for your time

  • why?

    ...simplemente me gusto mucho!!!

  • Chills..... ♥
