The wriggly... Robovlog

2 day old baby roborovski... or pink monkey nut as Rav calls them, but I prefer to call them squiglies or wrigglies... or we could call them roborovski pups and save on confusion. They are amazing. Oh and don't be concerned... the pups do get left around the cage at times... the mum does scoop them back up and into the nest and we can't touch them. If we did the mother might/would reject them and that would be awful.

They were born all over the cage... the mother then went around collecting them all and putting them into her nest.

that fluff shouldnt be there. Fluffs that are bought from stores are not good for the pups for they could easily get trapped in there and die. Next time just give mama hamsters some tissue paper, she'll make a good nest out of it.

Its not store bought fluff... its actually a cotton pod that the mother fluffed up and built a nest in... completely natural and easily breakable fibres, so none of them got caught up in it :)

All the babies developed well and thrived, the mother was excellent and the habitat and care well executed and you were CLEARLY wrong. REMOVE YOUR EGO on pet care please. ALSO you missed a vital point: UNSCENTED TISSUE PAPER. I'm fed up of lame people trying to point out poor care on every bloody animal video on this site. When so far they have been wrong on two occasions and even inaccurate in what they have said.
