PICTURES REFRAMED

Leif Ove Andsnes embarks on a major project which marks a new departure for the internationally
acclaimed pianist and exclusive EMI Classics artist. Together with South African-born visual artist
Robin Rhode he has created a special programme entitled Pictures Reframed which centres
around Mussorgskys epic piano suite Pictures at an Exhibition combining music, film and still
imagery. EMI Classics will release the project on both DVD and CD this Autumn and the première
takes place on 13 November at New Yorks Lincoln Center, followed by live performances in the
United States and throughout Europe during November and December. StatoilHydro is the
projects commissioning sponsor and the Lincoln Center New York is the Commissioning Arts
Institution.

  • i knew Leif was gay! He finally showed his gay lover here. I would have preferred an Asian guy as his lover though, like Yundi Li. They would be perfect lovers! Love you Leif! I'll see you in New York City On Dec. 3, 2010 for your Risor Chamber Music Festival. I can't believe Marc Andre Hamelin will be tehre as well. Hamelin is a closeted gay, you know. But he's not for you, he's ugly.

  • @misspeckpeck Dear Miss "Peck-Peck",

Please see a plastic surgeon ASAP and ask him/her to make your breasts a little bigger. You might need a little botox on your eye bags as well. I guarantee you'll look even more handsome!

P.S. An artist of this caliber,... I don't care if he has two heads and 6 eyes, he is superb!

  • Dear Leif,

Please see an orthodontist ASAP and ask him/her to make your upper teeth look better. You might need tooth bonding as well. I guarantee you'll look even more handsome!
