nope some peoples rotators cuffs can't handle it.
-
and i tought it was just an excuse to not fully bench =P
-
well nerd is at the end of my name :P
mazurek is the one that gave me the idea, so props go to him really, he says he cannot go down the full 3 inches himself, and uses 1-2 inch boards so he only goes only 1-2 inches but the guy benches 500 raw and says his lower half is also his weak point like myself, so it obviously must be working regardless if he can;t go down the full extra 3 inches.

i have to hand it too you jared your a smart man lol.
yeah i might try doing them on 1 to 2 inch boards and see what happens.
the bottom of my bench needs some improvement

If it continues to bother you, you can try not going down all the way with the cambered bar or use 1-2 inch boards like mazurek does, even going an extra 1-2 inchs would be beneficial for helping the lower half of your lift.

Maybe, I wish I knew, the ROM never bugs me usually but maybe I have shorter arms then you at my short 5'7 height, i got away maxing on shoudler press, flat bench, and incline in the same day all with the cambered bar, it didn't bug me one bit.

my shoulders are doing alot better now, i might not be used to going that deep on them, for me i feel like benching goes deep enough,

I do not know where you can buy them as this was at my gym, but my friend Bretzzer happens to have one, so you can try asking him.
Jared do you feel comfortable with that bar?

yeah I feel ok, I do not plan to use it all the time, but i am planning to train with it for the next 8-12 weeks probably replacing barbell to help strengthen the lower half of my bench press. The ROM is insane.
