Swagger actually raise YOUR attack... Which makes the confusion worse. My absol (level 100) used sword dance... got confused by the use of swagger... Which meant attack sharply raised x2... and with attack being my absol's main stat to begin with, I more or less one-shotted myself in the confusion :p
