@jbcxf -- Make sure you wait for him before jumping onto the airship at the end of the world of balance. If you wait, he'll come with like 5 seconds left on the clock. If you leave without him, it's doneso for Shadow -- can't get him in WoR.

Faaaaaaaaake. You can't save it after beating the game for the SNES version, so even IF you argue the logic of beating an enemy and encountering it on the Veldt later, the game wouldn't have a recording of you fighting it ever, because you wouldn't have been able to save it after beating him!
