Mk1 Golf 16v 2L

My old Mk1 golf 16v, that I no longer own.
Film car at 70mph.
List of modifications:
16v KR from Mk2 Golf,
Stage 3 Ported & Polished head,
9a short block (2L),
TSR 272 cams,
K&N filter,
50mm Inlet manifold,
16v conversion tubular 4 branch manifold,
Kent vernier pulley,
Modded WUR,
Baffled sump & windage tray,
New oil & water pumps & every other part replaced with new genuine items.

On standard injection, The engine made 184.9bhp and 150lbs/ft torque.

Engine built by Stealth Racing & RK Engineering.

It's not a motorway car, it much preffered accerating.
On an 8v box with smaller wheels.
VW owners should appreciate it.

Wheels are Steffan BCW 8j et 15 & 9j et20

amazing car! very clean looking classic... I bet it was fabulous to drive - 185hp from non-turbine engine in a car that weights nothing... (I have driven stock mk1 gti and it was allready like a rocket!)

Curious on what sort of dyno it was on with that figure.

I have a Scirocco with every single exact mod you listed, side the TSR cams-- I have Schrick 268/276 cam set, and for my mind's sake would love to know if I'm actually putting down that kind of power as well!

Why not a rocket powered jet plane engine?

I heard the boeing ones just slide right in...

Or why not put a turbo in, then supercharge the engine?

Or maybe why not buy a bugatti or carrera gt and put a mk1 bodykit on it?
