Sons of Ben: Philadelphia Union Announcement 7

Now in the City Hall courtyard the SoB's break out their now famous Sons of Ben "Manah, Manah" song. The media cameras have arrived as they have finally caught up with us. It was beautiful there in the sunshine.

Like "pied pipers", the numbers of marchers grow as unlookers join up with us. The crowd is really growing now. I had to stop filming because folks kept coming up to me asking how they could join or where do they get tickets, etc.

On May 10.09 members of the Sons of Ben gathered at McGillins Ale House, the site of their founding in 2007 before the team existed, to prepare for the official announcement of the team name Philadelphia Union.

What was formerly known as MLS Philly 2010 now has a proper name. MLS has a 16th team with great supporters. www.sonsofben.com
