Constellation - Alesis A6 Andromeda

Just me noodling out a simple tune (complete with goofs) on my A6 and Motif XS6. The audio was recorded directly on the XS and dubbed over the video, no subsequent editing. This video shows how well the A6 can do Vangelis-esque CS80 brass sounds.

Beutifull playiong and sound.....very expressive synth work there.....very nice to hear!! The aftertouch seems to be very responsive on the Andrmeda.....I have a CS-50.....sounds a bit the same:)

Thanks... I did it entirely on-the-fly, and I'm not very good at playing so it does have mistakes. Someday I'll record a proper version. Someday. Maybe in 2013 or so. ;-)

The Andy does CS sounds very well. And the aftertouch is nice on it too. Shame that it doesn't do poly-aftertouch.

@tbonesixtynine yes that is true - although I was referring to the decision it's self. The neuron being so much harder to find I would assume would be a better choice for someone who desires both the andromeda and the Hartmann - i still have yet to find one.

You dont happen to have made the CS80 guitar preset on the Andy? Like the one vangelis used in to the unknown man.

imo HN and A6 have absolutely nothing in common. So either you want a classic analog synth with all the modern bells and whistles, or you want something completely else.

This is very nice, I like it
