Sony Erricson w910i - Screen not working

***This video was made to show that the phone is working to sell the phone on eBay - It sold a week after I made this video.***

This is my 3 week old SE w910i which fell in the water. The battery was immediately removed, and the salt has been removed from the circuit boards using distilled water and isopropyl alcohol. This video shows the phone working eg. making a call, recieving a call, taking a photo, etc.

I have sony ericsson w910i from February 2009 and it have fallen it in milk,wine and I washed it with water but work very good without problem!:D

@vodafone810live Milk & Wine doesn't conduct electricity aswell as salt water, which is probably why yours is fine.

IS THE BATTERY RED ON TOP?? IS IT?? my w910i fell on a poll today.. and the battery has something red, and when i connect the phone to the recharge one of the buttons turns red.. i tried to put it on rice and at the sun, hope it works..

And if someone can help i'd be thankfull

@Starwarior7 Yes, the battery is red; it's so when/if you send your phone back to sony saying "it just stopped working" they know that you dropped it in water. There's one on the phone where the battery goes too.

You should take apart the phone and dry it if possible, even after like 5 days I found moisture inside it..

I had the same, fixed it by replacing the screen, cost me around 20 euros.

I got the same problem! blank screen yet still can be used. I think its the main pcb thats faulty. Cos I taken it apart and to see this ' strip' connecting both slide parts has tear. So just have to replace that thing and the screen will work fine

@Pkin93 hey ive had the same problem for around 2 days... i cannot text nor use my slide as the phone will just freeze and go blank.. if you get any answers or if i do please reply. its such a good phone and now im tempted to buy another

i have the same problem too. every time i slide it, the screen will turn blank. so, i cannot slide the phone.so, should i change and fix the screen or the slide??
