@DestinationMan You dont know about gerundio tense then? well in english its like saying I'm walking but in italian it would be sto caminando. its a way of describing an action in more detail. You use the present tense of stare as your auxiliary verb (instead of io, lei, lui ect) and you conjugate the verb you doing into gerundio

-ire - endo
-ere - endo
eg) sta dormendo - He's sleeping
stiamo correndo - we're running...
