Nice espidoie for Berto! It's a shame only Max himself and a couple of vilans made it into becoming aa toy; teh characters are so great!

Nah, the Dread Probes (along with the Infinity Ice) are never mentioned again past the first season. Possibly some plans Greg Weisman had for the show which got dumped when he was fired :(

There was a combination of (I think) not so good ratings, as well as the show being broadcast in a really roundabout, out of order way (it went 1,1,3,2,4,9,8,random repeat,10,7,10,5 etc.), partly because, despite having two animation teams, some episodes weren't ready in time. When it came to figuring out who should be fired because of stuff like this, Greg, as the person in charge, was fired. He was effectively blacklisted for months, if not years because of his 'failings' on this show.

Ouch... Thats a bit harsh.
The two teams making the show.. was it his decision?
Lol, how can it be his fault if the teams can produce their work ontime.

No idea to be honest: it could have been the higher-ups decision to try and make the episodes quicker (like how long-running animation shows [particularly anime] have filler episodes animated using companies in other countries).
