JAMAICA. MADE IN POLAND
While walking down the street you can see people looking black at one another but when the festival is about to begin, when people arrive in Ostroda, you start seeing a smile in the city, a positive vibe, which penetrates even those who don't have a contact with the music, just live here."
Piotr „Piter" Kolaj
Ostróda Reggae Festival director and producer
„Jamaica. Made in Poland" is a recording of some beautiful moments of the last year, an attempt to capture the atmosphere of four wonderful days at Ostróda Reggae Festival 2012. You can see short interviews with the performing artists, festival's guests, participants and the organizers.
The soundtrack consists of some great songs that you could hear from the festival stages in 2012. The movie was produced by Mania Studio - a team well known to the Polish reggae fans thanks to many video clips done by them for the artists of the genre. They are also responsible for a great documentary "Pragnienia Szczyt" ("Top Desires"), showing the Polish band Star Guard Muffin on the trip to Jamaica, included as DVD disc to their release "Jamaican Trip".
We hope that this film will remind you (or show for the first time) some beautiful moments of the last year and cause you seriously missing the next edition of the event in August!
Wishing you pleasant watching, we strongly suggest to put the volume up!
