This video is more instructional and less interesting than the above one. This one is more intended as a step by step tutorial for owners teaching flight to their parrot. This is video footage from day 2 of training Kili to fly up and down my stairway. The good thing is that it's a completely closed stairway with doors at both top and bottom so she has no choice but to fly to me.

I set up her training perch at the top or bottom of the stairs and recall fly her either upstairs or downstairs. I progressively increase the distance.

@varunesharma2000 Kili missed the landing by flying too high and freaked out. She didn't make her turn tight enough and bounced off the wall. Finally she ended up on the floor but I left her. I did not pick her up or give attention and in fact walked away. So she just flew back to her perch which is the smart/safe option under the circumstances. The parrot must learn for itself. So this is all just part of the training process. I don't remember the last time she crashed in a wall since then!

@4Bananables Cause, she had to learn on her own what to do. Didn't you see that it worked? I ignored her after she crashed, she was stunned a moment but then got up and flew back to her perch.
