Happy Kona Manta Rays

22 happy and hungry manta rays enjoy an evening plankton banquet from our dive lights on Wednesday, April 15th off the Kona Coast of the island of Hawaii. Air and water temperature was 76 degrees. I did the snorkeling sans wetsuit with my new Fujifilm underwater camera. You can hear me laughing like a fluffy schoolgirl when a number of them come in at once and brush my legs and even give me a head-butt. One of the happiest free-feeling moments of my life.

Thanks for posting this. I had doubts about buying the camera but I will for sure! I live in the Virgin Islands and I definitely need a waterproof camera.. I hit the beach at least 5 times a week. THANKS!!!!!!!

Does this camera has a continuous flash option to light up underwater when your night swimming? Or no :\

@SwimmminChick Thanks for your question. It has an Underwater mode and a Night mode, but I didn't see a continuous flash mode listed. I believe there is a new model of this called the Fujifilm FinePix XP10 that has 12 megapixels and 5x optical zoom. I saw one on Amazon for $148.95. I may have to trade up!

@ichaves25 Our Costa Rican trip was GREAT! We were there three weeks: in San Jose, Naranjo, Arenal, Mondeverde, and Tamarindo for two weeks. I'd love to go back. The people were wonderful and kind. We didn't end up going white water rafting, but ziplining, and I surfed. I ended up buying an underwater housing for my land camera Canon Powershot 720. Worked out well. Nice video and good Amazon review. I will likely be buying one of these for my son. I like the Fuji cameras (have two video reviews), so it should be a no brainer!
