@edog200 If its like the slime we get here (Texas) its real easy to go right down just like you did. That stuff is slick. When I took physics in school, we did many problems like "A 5 kg mass is sliding on a frictionless surface..." That moss is what they used to make that surface frictionless.
Glad you and the bike were ok.

I hear people talk of the radiator all the time. I like where Yamaha put it. I see bikes like the New Triumph 1200 and the radiator is right behind the front wheel exposed. While it gets a lot of cool air there, I can see rocks, sticks, and other crap being sprayed up from the front wheel. Looks like a recipe for failure.
Its good to know the Super T can take a good drop. If you ride on the dirt, its only a matter of time before you drop a bike, so its good to have some protection.

@dizzzave357 ABS and TC are not God. They don't do miracles. You will hurt yourself if you think otherwise...
If it's aqua planning, then both ABS and Traction control can't do shit.

@th0r90 it wasn't aquaplaning. It was slime.

Man, you tried to put your foot on the ground at that speed with a relatively heavy bike, you are lucky you didn't blow your knee.

@AllanHP I'm a dirt rider by trade. I don't know what I was thinking.

What caused the crash?
The Tenere has both ABS and traction control, it would be nice to know what went wrong.

@dizzzave357 I know exactly what went wrong, it was a front wheel wash out where there was no traction. ABS and traction control on the Yammy is the best in the business it is bloody fantastic, but it's no miracle cure for me being dumb.
