I think Cajun fiddle playing sounds great and I put this small video together to celebrate this lively music. http://peakfiddler.co.uk/notation/cajun-cookin.gif .I believe the tunes are called 'Cajun Cooking' and 'See you later alligator'.

I also added some rhythm guitar and electric bass to give the tunes an extra lift.
Thanks for listening.

  • I hope this isn't clueless question. It seems as if playing the fiddle would require holding a little bit still to get it right, and at the same time, you can't help but move. How on earth do you fiddle players manage?

  • @LanceThruster When I was learning to play, no one ever told me to stand still. Bad habits are hard to break.

  • Can you tell us what type of fiddle you play. I thought I saw the information somewhere. However I can't find it now. You may want to post such info on your web site.

    Thanks - from
