Yes, some are lids, but there are others that forget which vfo they are txing on. I
wonder where the "frequency police" are, you know, the guys that tell those guys that

Hmm... if I had just scrolled up the band and heard him on his transmission freq it wouldn't be obvios at first that he listening 5 up, I would soon spot the pileup 5 up though on the band scope and put 2 + 2 together.
When operators are using a split like this I think they should annouce the split every 2-3 qso's for the guys that have only just found him.
