Another demo of two more built-in presets:

97-Rainy Day Drum

35-Tabla Drone

No, I'm not a tabla player, but I can fake it on a wavedrum using some frame drum techniques. It's one of the more impressive presets on this new wavedrum!
The head surface doesn't have a lot of rebound but it is very sensitive, with a very wide dynamic response range.

As seen in the first part ("rainy day drum") there is far more to the sound than just a standard trigger like you'd have in a regular electronic drum, there are acoustic pickups as well so you hear the sound change based on type of stick, density of the wood, etc. This is why this instrument will not support MIDI. MIDI simply doesn't have the capability of encoding everything this drum needs to produce sounds.

  • @TheMercdesFreak Yes, you can adjust the pitch.

  • Can you adjust the pitch of this drum to suit the different scales of songs. Or is the tabla pitch fixed. Indian songs have various scales and pitches. Can it be adjusted
