Like I posted elsewhere.... Beck was the worst thing that ever happened to the Rangers. One of the worst trades ever.

Irvine played for the Raggamuffins, it was carry over from that.
Irvine never played the rest of the year because of the beating Clarke gave him.

Irvin I think was one of the players involed in the Barry Beck trade that sent players and cash to the Rockies in return for Beck. Funny thing is, Mike McEwen was the best player going to the Rockies in that trade and wound up on the Islanders and won three cups. lol Poor Rangers.
