Shazam III 3 Stage High Power Rocket

This 3 stage rocket flew perfectly. J570 to J350 to I161. Two onboard computers - Adept ES236 stager and Adept DDCS2 dual deployment performed great. My compliments to Tom Monteymayor who's
"Three's Company" was the inspiration for Shazam III.

where can i get my hands on multi-stage engines?

The engines are the same as others, the lower ones just do not have any ejection charge (sometimes known as "plugged"). The challenge is igniting the upper stages with on-board electronics and igniters. In a 3 stage rocket like this one, a special circuit is used which arms the third stage igniter only after the ignition of the 2nd stage is successful.

Thanks. It worked really well. I'll be launching it again this year with the MARS rocket club out of Rochester, NY. Thinking about going for it and changing the 1st stage to K1100 (I used a 54mm-38mm adapter for the J570). I'm hoping for 8000 feet out of the K1100-J350-I161 setup.

@DRTBGOFDOOM its just a regular engine but the time delay before blows the the cchute or in this case ignites the next motor is zero
